(Feb. 22, 2008) – Rod Fuller, who qualified second at the CSK Nationals last season, will have to wait one day to attempt to qualify his David Powers-owned Caterpillar dragster. Rain showers canceled Friday’s qualifying action at Firebird International Raceway. Professional nitro qualifying for the 24th annual CSK Nationals remains as scheduled. Top Fuel dragsters will qualify at 12:30 and 3 p.m. (MT) on Saturday at Firebird International Raceway. Fuller qualified his Rob Flynn-tuned dragster 10th two weeks ago at the season-opening Winternationals and clocked low elapsed time of the event at 4.494-seconds in an opening round victory. He currently ranks seventh in the Top Fuel standings.
